Accroch’Pattes is a new therapy service in Southern France where the concept of “therapy animals” is new. Accroch’Pattes strives to use animals to help children with stress and anxiety disorders, mentally disabled adults and children, depressed and anxious teens and seniors. The website needed to appeal to not only those receiving therapy, but also convince those who would be in the situation to recommend the therapy that animal therapy works. These audiences included doctors, psychiatrists, and parents. We strove to focus on the animals themselves and created multiple, interactive means for users to learn about the benefits of animal therapy and specifically Accroch’Pattes. In addition to the website, we created a tri-fold brochure to be left at doctors’ and psychiatrists offices explaining the benefits of animal therapy.
